Fans Speak: Prok & Fitch

UK-based house tech masters Prok & Fitch recently released their latest single, Heatwave. We asked the fans what they thought about the newest track. Check out what they had to say and hear the new sounds below. They play at Soundcheck in DC on 6/19/2016 before the head back to Europe to finish their tour so you may still have a chance to hear them live.

“ It's very trancey. My first thought was honestly the Marquee nightclub in Brooklyn and that type of lifestyle. Suits, ties, cocktail dresses, champagne, cocaine. “They suffocated my spark, I get a rush.”  That lyric in Heatwave even sounds like cocaine.”  - Nathan N.

“It has a nice low-key beat with repetitive guitar licks that put you in a summer mindset. It doesn't have the kind of energy that you would want to listen to while playing football on the beach with a bunch of friends but instead it makes you wish you were drinking with your girl by a pool.”   -      Tim C.

“Holy crap! They’re really good! I really dig their sound!” - Thomas D.

“It’s good. Not my favorite music type but it definitely has a good upbeat vibe to it. It’s good warm up music. I like the beat for summer for sure.” - John N.

"It's got a very nice club vibe. Something that you could listen to while still being able to comfortably talk with someone but wouldn't have any issue in transitioning straight to dancing." -   Rashid A.

“Overall I really did enjoy the song, it was your classic house song with a very good rhythm to it, I really like the various types of percussion in the song, it definitely kept my head bobbing and I could easily dance to this in a club/concert environment. I do also think they could have cut the time of the song in half and that would have still made a perfectly good finished piece but I'm sure they had their reasons behind making it so long.” - Craig L.
